My personal achievements of 2017

A look back on 2017. I thought I would create this post to remind myself of my personal achievements of last year. (I also written this in my journal, as I gained each of my achievements and reflections.)

  • Continuing my blog
  • ‘High Merit’ in ‘Health Care – Managing Challenging Behaviour,’ with BSY. (Receiving Level 3 ABC Award.)
  • Getting my COSHH certificate. ( Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
  • ‘High Merit’ in ‘Health Care (Foundation,)’ with BSY.
  • Passing my theory test.
  • Getting a new job, which I started this year.

And although I cannot add passing my driving test to the list with deciding not to continue, I can take away the following personal achievements:

  • Confidence gained
  • New experiences
  • Getting myself out of my comfort zone
  • Overcoming certain obstacles
  • New learning

What have been your personal achievements of 2017?

    1. Happy New Year to you too. Yes, blogging is certainly therapy and you discover it helps others as well as yourself. 🙂

  1. That is so cool that you are taking time to acknowledge your accomplishments from the last year. Too often I think we focus on the negative things that happen in the year and forget the good. 😃

    1. It’s certainly easy to forget the good when there has been bad. I wanted to get into practise. This may be a yearly reflection practise here, for me. 🙂

  2. Fab post, very positive to look back and find the good things, realising you’ve achieved more than you perhaps thought. I don’t know about my 2017, I feel like I haven’t done anything to celebrate. I’ll have to give it some more thought to find something..!

    1. Give it some more thought, I bet you will find something. Had I not written my list as I went along in my journal, I would have probably forgot some of my achievements. Yes, I have achieved more than I thought. 😀

    1. Thanks for your comment and stopping by. Yes, you writing a blog is an achievement for your list as mine.
There is another couple of posts where I talked about driving lessons before this post, which you will have missed, so you won’t have had a clear view of this post where I was coming from on that bit. I have decided not to continue, but although I have decided not to continue, the positives I mention regarding it in this post, is what I take away from it.
The post was where I mentioned I decided to not to continue and why:
